Alec Agana Awarded Martini Akpovi Scholarship

Martini Akpovi Partners has made an on-going commitment to offer scholarships to California State University of Northridge (CSUN) accounting students. This year three students received an award of $1,000.

Alec Agana is one of these students. Born in the Philippines, Alec moved to America aged five. He studied for 2 years at community college before transferring to CSUN to study accounting. Alec, who is on track to graduate next semester, is about to embark on his second internship with KPMG and has already secured a position in their advisory practice after he graduates. He is particularly interested in risk consulting and mitigating risks associated with emerging technology. Alec also works part-time during the college semester for Pension Assurance LLP on employee benefit plan audits.
