In an effort to keep our clients’ information as secure as possible, we are pleased to announce that Martini, Iosue & Akpovi is now using ShareFile as a secure method to send and receive sensitive information. ShareFile is award winning cloud-based encryption software that helps us exchange files securely, professionally and easily with you.
In future email correspondence with our staff, you will notice a change in our transmission method of attached documents. Instead of receiving attachments with password security, you will receive a secure ShareFile link in the body of an email. When you are sent your first ShareFile link, a separate automatic email from firstname.lastname@example.org will generate and ask you to activate your ShareFile account. You will only need to activate your account once by selecting a username and password. Please keep a record of your username and password as you will need this log-in information to access your files.
For those clients who wish to send us sensitive files electronically, we can create ShareFile folders for you to upload your documents. Please let us know if you are interested in sending us documents via secure ShareFile upload and we will help coordinate the transmission.

Q: I click the ShareFile link in my email, but can’t download documents. What is my password?
A: If you have not activated your account, please go to the automatic email from email@example.com to activate your account before clicking the button to download documents in the original email.
Q: I forgot my password. Can you please send it to me?
A: For your security, our staff does not have access to your password. Please go to www.miacpas.sharefile.com and click the “Forgot password” link. Please follow the instructions to reset your password.
Q: I activated my account, but I do not see any of the documents. How do I access them?
A: If you have only been receiving links to ShareFile documents through emails, you will need to click on the links in each respective email to access those files. You will not see any documents when you log-in. In this case, the email links are the only way you will be able to access the files.
Q: I got your email to download the attachments, but where is the welcome email?
A: The welcome email is automatically sent when you receive your first ShareFile link. The email is sent from firstname.lastname@example.org. If you cannot find the welcome email in your spam or deleted email boxes, please let us know and our ShareFile administrator can resend it.
Q: I tried downloading the attachment through ShareFile, but the link is no longer valid. How can I download the files?
A: Documents are accessible through ShareFile for only 30 days. If 30 days have passed, the document is no longer available through ShareFile. If 30 days have not passed, the link may be broken. Please contact our office and request us to resend the file.
