Over the last few weeks members of the MAP squad have been collecting canned food and personal hygiene products for the Hope of the Valley Help Center in Van Nuys.
Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission provides support to the homeless in the San Fernando Valley by aiming to break the cycle of poverty. Some of the services provided include: hot showers; clothing; personal care and other essential items; and a hot lunch which is served daily.
Mary Akpovi, one of the founding partners of MAP, is a former board member of Hope of the Valley.
This holiday season the MAP team donated more than 200 cans of food and bags containing personal hygiene items. Leo Pabro, Rouba Khzam and Artin Shahmirzaian are pictured with the donations at the Hope of the Valley center.
