Martini Akpovi Partners has made an on-going commitment to offer scholarships to California State University of Northridge (CSUN) accounting students. This year three students received an award of $1,000.
Shahad Parsa is one of these students. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Shahed moved to America in 2005. Pursuing an education in the US has always been Shahed’s dream as his mother, who passed away a few years ago, had studied in America.
Shahed is a Professional Accountancy student at CSUN, and is on track to graduate next semester. This summer he is gaining experience at Ernst and Young on their core tax internship program. Throughout his studies he has worked at Car Max learning invaluable lessons about leadership, financing and customer service.
